How early is “too early” ?

Its a question we get asked a lot “How early can we get our child on a bike?” Unfortunately we cant answer that question – every child is different, everyone has a different learning curve and where some kids pick it up fast, some take just a little longer getting settled in. What we can say is that when they want to – Early Rider has a bike for them. West Quay Event

Here at the Hub we love putting on, helping or attending any bike related events but running a huge demo weekend at West Quay shopping center in Southampton was a daunting but exciting challenge. After a super early start involving lots of bike shuttling and coffee we were set up with a huge demo area so people could try out any of the bikes from Trek, Electra and Frog Bikes. Once the staff had setup and had a quick spin (Perks of the job!) we opened the gates and everyone was welcome to have a go or simply come and have a chat. The Electra bikes certainly caught a few eyes with their bright colours and easy to ride geometry. With a huge selection from over 18 Bikes – everyone found one they wanted to ride! Big Bike Bash

28th – 31st August saw The Hub Cycleworks supporting the annual Big Bike Bash at Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre. Situated in the idyllic setting of the New Forest, the centre is run by the national youth work charity UK Youth who hosted a variety of events for all ages and skill levels. New pump / Gravity track….As opened by Grant Fielder at the 2011 event will have even more stuff happening.
